Lead Week 2024

This lead poisoning prevention week, take action by getting educated. There's more to know about lead.

  • Lead is a toxic metal that has been used in many products over time - including in spices, makeup, and even home remedies.
  • Children less than six years old are at a higher risk of lead exposure. Their bodies are rapidly developing and more susceptible to taking in lead if exposed, even in small amounts.
  • No amount of lead in the body is safe.

Take action by getting educated. There's more to know about lead.
