Parents concerned about lead in water at Oakland Public Schools should have their children tested.
If you have private insurance or MediCal just ask your primary care person. If you are uninsured you can be screened and enrolled at the eligibility departments of the Alameda County clinics or at Alameda Health System. You can find a list of these clinics here or by calling the Public Health Department's Family Health Line at 1-888-604-4636 or Health Care Services' health insurance program at 1-800-422-9495.
